Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher
Jenny earned her Bachelors degree in Family and Community Services, and Child Development from Michigan State University and her Masters degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University. She also completed a fellowship in Maternal and Child Health during her time at Grand Valley. Jenny specializes in family building counseling. With nearly a decade of experience working with children, teens, and adults, Jenny has a passion for helping you and your loved ones thrive into the strong family unit you desire. Jenny has worked with trauma survivors, children with challenging behaviors, young adults aging out of the foster care system, foster families, adoptive families, individuals walking the path of infertility, and much more.
In her work, Jenny believes that you are the expert of your life and that counseling provides access to tools required to discover the truth that already lives within you. Jenny believes in the importance of strong, healthy families. Influenced by her experience as a yoga teacher, Jenny welcomes mindfulness and movement into counseling sessions to increase body awareness and promote a healthy mind-body connection. It is her goal to cultivate a safe and trusted space where you can engage in self-discovery, exploration, and growth as you navigate the path of coping, recovery, and healing. In addition to counseling Jenny also offers individual, One-on-One Yoga sessions.
